178 million people in Western Europe, or 2/3 of all Internet users, will be regularly participating on social networks by the end of 2014, according to data from eMarketer. It’s clear that social media is increasingly becoming a crucial way for insurance agents to connect with customers.

According to Monika Schulze, Global Head of Brand Marketing of Zurich Insurance Group:

Using Hearsay Social, Zurich agents can now compliantly share content and build relationships with current and prospective clients across the social networks. After kicking off its social media project in Germany, Zurich is now rolling out Hearsay Social to multiple countries, including Austria, Spain, and others.

Today Hearsay Social is proud to announce the launch of Hearsay Social for Facebook promoted posts, allowing advisors and agents to amplify their reach, increase engagement, and grow business on Facebook.
With over 1.3 billion people using Facebook monthly, it’s more crucial than ever for financial professionals to be leveraging the social network to share content, stay top of mind, and connect with prospective and current clients.


Hearsay Social for Facebook promoted posts allows relationship managers to take content they’ve published and broaden their distribution through Facebook ads, amplifying their visibility and increasing engagement. According to financial professionals, like Michelle Monson, Financial Consultant with Thrivent Financial, the new feature will be crucial to helping them grow business:

Thank you–Here’s to the next three years and beyond

Three years ago, we left our jobs at Microsoft and to create the next generation of enterprise software. In the wake of the financial crisis, businesses hungered for innovation because they knew they needed step change in order to stay relevant to an increasingly social and mobile customer. Before “social business” and “big data” became part of the common vernacular, we founded Hearsay Labs to take advantage of their intersection. We developed software for relationship managers to attract, retain, and grow customers through social media, and dubbed this “social sales.”
