Michael Boese

Michael Boese is CEO of Hearsay Systems. He has 25 years of software leadership experience with high performing software companies. Most recently, he was co-founder and CEO of Plantt, a SaaS enabled garden goods marketplace that was purchased by Monrovia. Prior to Plantt, Boese was the CEO of Certent, a fintech SaaS company where he oversaw 5x revenue growth, significant margin expansion and the implementation of multiple process improvement initiatives over a six-year period. Boese has also held various senior leadership roles at Taleo, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Oracle. He has also been a board advisor and consultant to several software companies.

Boese holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Washington and an MBA from Duke University, where he was a Fuqua Scholar.

Chris Andrew

Chris Andrew oversees Hearsay’s Product, Engineering and Design for Hearsay and is General Manager of Hearsay Relate. Chris was employee #1 at Hearsay, where he began as its first Customer Success Manager and has played a variety of roles in product management, solutions consulting, and as the former Head of Hearsay Europe.

Prior to Hearsay, Chris worked in product management at Intuit. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Grove City College, where he was captain of the track & field team. In his spare time, he is a gourmet pizza chef who trained in Naples, Italy.

Robert MacCloy

Robert MacCloy oversees Hearsay’s software engineering, data, and infrastructure teams. He was one of the company’s first employees and has played a pivotal role in the company’s product, technology, and strategic direction. Under Robert’s leadership, Hearsay’s technology and product teams have pioneered a model for “agile enterprise” development – balancing agile continuous delivery with the enterprise needs and expectations of the world’s largest banks and insurance firms.

Previously, Robert worked as a software engineer at Quantcast and AdBrite. Outside of work, Robert loves nerding out on decentralized decision-making, data, and continually better ways to #GSD.

Leslie Leach

Leslie Leach leads Hearsay’s marketing strategy and execution. She has more than two decades of experience in consumer and B2B marketing, starting her marketing career as a Brand Manager at The Clorox Company. More recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing for ZapLabs, the innovation lab for Realogy RLGY (NYSE) and Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Certent, a fintech SaaS company, where she grew the business from $11 million to $40 million in revenue over four years.

Leach holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where she was named an Edward W. Carter Fellow. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on her two teenage boys, travelling, and the outdoors.

Pradeep Ananth

Pradeep is responsible for leading Hearsay’s Professional Services, Training & Education and Technical Support organizations . He has over two decades of experience working with large, global enterprise clients helping design, deploy and maximize the value of their customer experience related investments through a variety of services.

Prior to Hearsay, Pradeep has worked at some of the world’s leading agencies and consultancies including Deloitte Consulting and Razorfish where he has built and managed practices around digital transformation and customer experience management for customers such as Wells Fargo, Ally Bank, Cigna Health, Salesforce, Intel etc. while partnering with leading platforms like Adobe, Salesforce and Amazon Web Services.

He holds a Masters in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon and a Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from PSG College of Technology, India. Pradeep lives in San Francisco with his wife and two kinder-age boys…Any spare time outside of heavy-duty parenting is usually consumed by books, movies, music that help make sense of the human condition.

Tom Westhoff

Tom Westhoff leads the sales, solutions consulting, and sales operations teams that position Hearsay’s acclaimed software and services to premier financial services and insurance firms. Having built his career in financial services field distribution and leadership prior to joining Hearsay, Tom brings domain knowledge at the intersection of insurance, wealth management, and digital, and serves as the key executive sponsor for Hearsay’s most strategic client relationships. As an early employee of Hearsay, Tom has played a critical role in the company’s strategy and direction from the beginning.

Previously, Tom served a variety of leadership roles at Insurity (a LexisNexis company) as well as Insuresoft and NIIT Technologies. Tom earned his B.S. in finance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he played on the men’s basketball team. These days, Tom can be found in the crossfit gym and chasing after his twin boys.

Joe Van Remortel

Joe Van Remortel brings 30 years of experience and customer success with a variety of innovative technology companies. By working cross-functionally at Hearsay, his team is responsible for ensuring the success of all Hearsay customers. Previously, he led business-technology integration efforts as an early employee at E*TRADE, then an upstart online broker that disrupted an industry and created a category. Joe also led B2B customer engagement and success with marketing-technology companies such as Organic/Omnicom, Wirestone and Publicis. Most recently, Joe spent 9 years at DocuSign leading the Customer Success/Account Management organization and growing the company from a small saas player to the global leader it is today. He and the team pioneered many new practices including adoption best practices, customer success tracking/reporting, and novel saas deal structures that benefited customers and DocuSign alike.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. Joe is a sourdough baker, a runner and constantly busy with his wonderful wife and four daughters.

Angela Kenniston

Angela Kenniston brings 20 years of experience in designing and managing innovative technology initiatives to her role as Vice President of Business Development. A long-time Salesforce executive, she is widely regarded as a visionary alliances leader. She created and closed the first multi-tier Salesforce platform reseller contract and launched an internal tool for ISV App Assessment with the partner success team. Kenniston also created and executed four first-of-their-kind technology distribution models. Additionally, she designed and led the company’s first North American ISV/CRM reseller agreement.

Prior to joining Hearsay, Kenniston served as Vice President of Business Development for GoFormz, where she designed and managed strategic, reseller, and referral partnership programs and contracts, increasing net-new channel ARR from 6% to 22%. Kenniston also spearheaded the cross-functional business transformation team to optimize professional services and enterprise customer feature requests in addition to implementing a custom partner community.

She holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University.

Iain Duke-Richardet

As Compliance Strategy Principal, Iain is responsible for guiding Hearsay’s 100+ global financial firm customers around the ever-evolving regulatory landscape. Iain is actively engaged with Hearsay’s customers and product teams and is focused on addressing new complexities as a strategic advantage to firms’ digital client experience initiatives.

Iain is a recognized industry thought leader and subject matter expert on global technology-related legal and regulatory issues, including social media. Iain was a member of FINRA’s Social Media Task Force, which produced the initial regulatory guidance on financial firms’ and advisors’ use of social media.

Prior to Hearsay, he was a Director with Accenture, where he partnered with clients on technology-related legal and regulatory issues, cybersecurity, privacy, communication and trading surveillance, books and records, and regulatory change management. Previously, Iain spent over a decade as a compliance officer and leader at global financial services firms including RBC Capital Markets, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital, and Goldman Sachs & Co.

Iain holds a Masters of Law (LLM) from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Leeds.

Alex Falls

Alex Falls is responsible for leading Hearsay’s product vision, direction, and development. He has over two decades of experience delivering product vision, strategy, and execution transforming the insurance and financial services industry.

Prior to Hearsay, Falls worked at Guidewire Software for 14 years where he held a number of management roles. Most recently, he spent five years as Vice President of Product Management and was recognized for building and evangelizing Guidewire’s cloud transformation strategy to reinvent non-SaaS products as cloud-native products and solutions.

Falls has also served in management roles at Epiphany and Clarify, leading the early wave of customer relationship management (CRM) software development. He holds a B.S. in political science from Washington University in St. Louis.
