Hearsay Social Doubles-Down On Growth with Second R&D Center in Seattle

Engineering center to help accelerate product development and expansion, complements growing engineering team at Hearsay Social’s Silicon Valley headquarters

SEATTLE – May 17, 2016Hearsay Social®, provider of the Predictive Omnichannel Suite for financial advisors and insurance agents, announced today it is strengthening its operations with the establishment of an engineering center in Seattle, Washington.

Located in one of North America’s most prominent technology hubs, Hearsay Social’s second engineering center will focus on building out new technologies that enable financial professionals to engage with their clients and prospects across multiple digital channels.

The facility underscores Hearsay Social’s rapid growth from a single product and single engineering team based in Silicon Valley to a global product suite and multiple in-region teams. In just one year, Hearsay Social expanded from one product to a complete digital toolkit, all built from the ground up by an R&D group with deep expertise in data science and machine learning.

Building upon its flagship social media solution, the platform has grown to be a full enterprise solution that also includes advisor websites (Hearsay Sites™), advisor email marketing (Hearsay Mail™) and compliant text messaging (Hearsay Messages™) – all from a single, unified dashboard. Today’s announcement and the recent build-out of engineering talent will enable continued innovation and product growth.

Moss, who joined Hearsay Social in February of 2015, has played an instrumental role in architecting and scaling the company’s engineering organization to deliver, support and manage rapid product releases; among his many accomplishments, he grew the team’s headcount by 50 percent over the last year. Prior to Hearsay Social, Moss was Chief of Engineering Operations at Mozilla. He has also served in senior leadership roles at both Fortune 50 companies and stealth-mode startups.
