Hearsay Social Names Tech Veteran William Salisbury as CFO to Help Drive Company Growth in 2015 and Beyond

March 10, 2015 — San Francisco, CA — Hearsay Social, provider of the Predictive Social Suite for financial advisors and insurance agents, today announced that William Salisbury has joined the company as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Salisbury brings more than five years of experience as a CFO at growing technology companies and nearly 25 years of banking and legal experience. His hire comes as Hearsay Social continues to aggressively scale its business globally across the financial services industry.

Salisbury is a seasoned technology industry veteran who joins Hearsay Social from AVAST Software. As CFO, he assisted the company in nearly tripling its revenue. Over the course of his three-year tenure, the employee base also doubled. Prior to AVAST, Salisbury served as CFO at Crescendo Bioscience, which he joined prior to product launch and helped grow through initial revenue generation. Before shifting into these operational roles, he spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley managing the execution of public and private financings for technology companies. He began his career as an associate with Davis Polk & Wardwell, working out of the New York and Paris offices.
