Hearsay’s April Product Release is Here

At Hearsay, it’s our mission to drive field production by enabling every advisor to be high-tech and high-touch at scale. Our laser focus on financial services field distribution guides our product roadmap as we constantly seek ways to improve the advisor-client experience.
Today, I’m excited to announce that our latest product release is now available. With this new release, we’ve focused on tightly integrating Hearsay into the systems of record that matter most to your organization while continuing to improve the advisor-client experience.

For Platform Interoperability:

New APIs
A core value that Hearsay provides is the advisor-client engagement data generated through our applications. With our new APIs, firms can uncover deeper, more holistic insights about their advisors’ client interactions through Hearsay and their core systems. As an example, customers can integrate contacts and activity data with their custom CRM systems or they can build a seamless integration into their advisor portal.
Microsoft Dynamics Connector
We are excited to announce that Hearsay now seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Dynamics. We’ve made it simple to capture essential field-level data that powers insights and financial services workflows to grow your business, increase CRM adoption, and improve the client experience. With our Microsoft Dynamics Connector, organizations can accelerate advisor productivity while enabling corporate sales and marketing teams to quickly acquire a deeper understanding of their advisors’ client engagement activities.

For Advisor Messages:

Wealth Management Reminders
Our Advisor Messages reminders utilize automation and predictive workflows to allow advisors to send timely, high-value texts to their clients. We’ve now expanded these reminders to enable wealth management advisors to proactively schedule pre-written reminder text messages to clients for critical activities like IRA contributions and distributions, bond maturation, and portfolio rebalances.

For Advisor Social:

Hearsay Content
We’ve launched Hearsay Content to enrich your content strategy. We leveraged years of data insights to deliver curated feeds of the most engaging content for your business. Now, your advisors can build trust and credibility by selecting content from a combination of industry (e.g. taxes, retirement) and lifestyle recommendations (e.g. technology, travel) updated daily from trusted sources like Forbes, Wired, and The Economist. As of this release, Hearsay Content is currently available in North America only.

1-to-1 Outreach Enhancements
As we continue our deep investment in enabling advisors to connect their social media activity to meaningful 1-to-1 conversations, we’re excited to announce key enhancements to this critical engagement channel. Email Scheduling allows advisors and their assistants to compose emails and schedule them for delivery at a specific time, so clients and prospects receive them when the timing is right. Lexicon Check improves engagement by helping ensure that emails adhere to your organization’s compliance policies.

Additional Reminders
Our first Reminders workflow, released in January, enables advisors and their client support associates to automatically schedule and text billing reminders to their customers through the Advisor Messages Web App. In today’s release, they can now schedule and send texts for five additional types of client engagement touchpoints – event reminders, annual reviews, birthday announcements, policy lapses and anniversaries.
By increasing the number of workflows available to advisors, they can more easily scale client engagement with highly valuable and personalized content across their entire books of business.

For Advisor Social:

Enhanced Personalization for 1-to-1 Outreach
Our 1-to-1 Outreach tool, released in January, allows your advisors to leverage pre-written messages that they commonly send – like referral requests, birthday messages and holiday greetings – through channels that their clients prefer, like email.
With today’s release, advisors using the 1-to-1 Outreach feature can make the messages even more personalized. Advisors will see additional personalization options for the email subject line and personalized recommendations for the email itself, all based on client data we’ve captured from past advisor-client interactions.
Additionally, we’ve added attribution of referral traffic to specific advisor outreach activities, so that corporate marketing leadership can understand the ROI of their advisor digital programs. Specifically, they have metrics-driven visibility into how advisor-client engagement is driving traffic to different corporate-owned web properties. For example, when an advisor sends an email to a client using our 1-to-1 Outreach feature, and the client clicks on a link within that email that directs him to a corporate-owned web page, corporate marketing teams can see that the click came from that specific advisor’s email outreach.
Increased Efficiency for Dynamic Campaigns
Our Dynamic Campaigns feature has been incredibly popular since its release, and we’ve received great feedback from you, our customers, on how it’s being used in the field. We listened, and have further enhanced the ability to easily create and edit content for campaigns – making it easier than ever for your advisors to engage and stay top of mind with their clients.

Dynamic Campaigns
Dynamic Campaigns allow you to automate publishing for advisors, ensuring even your busiest advisors generate awareness on social media and publish fresh content to their websites. With Dynamic Campaigns, you can now add content to active campaigns. The result? Your advisors subscribe to a campaign once, and relevant content will publish to their social profiles and websites as long as you’d like.
1-to-1 Outreach
In financial services, it’s the one-to-one interactions that drive client acquisition and retention. Hearsay Social’s new 1-to-1 Outreach tool allows your advisors to efficiently scale these critical touchpoints on clients’ preferred channels (like email). Even better, Hearsay combines engagement data with pre-written messages to help advisors reach out to the right client or prospect, at the right time, with the right message.

Action List
The Action List is Hearsay Social’s new homepage. Like a social selling to-do list, it lists the most important actions an advisor needs to take – on any given day – in order to be as successful as possible. This might be a Job Change Signal to follow up on, a Campaign to subscribe to, a profile edit from compliance, and more. By taking the guesswork out of social selling, you’re able to save each advisor time while making a larger percentage of your advisors successful.

For Advisor Messages:

Reminders, Including Billing
Our Reminders feature enables advisors to proactively schedule high-value texts to their clients. We’ve built this financial services-specific feature to help advisors automate texts that drive client engagement and retention.
In this first advisor workflow, Reminders is focused on billing policy reminders. It allows advisors to easily send billing reminders to their customers through the Web application. If the advisor has a client that has not yet opted in, the first message sent will be the opt-in message.
Conversation Filtering
Advisors can quickly sort through their client texts with Conversation Filtering. This allows advisors to filter their conversations by clients who have opted in, need to opt-in, pending opt-in, opted out and been hidden.
Blocking and Alerting
Historically, it has been difficult for compliance officers to understand which terms or emojis caused text messages to trigger policy violations from their advisors. With Blocking and Alerting, compliance officers can understand if specific policies are too stringent or sufficient to mitigate risk for the firm. How? Hearsay can quickly report all the attempts to send out terms that were blocked in the blocking lexicon.
Email Notifications for Unread Messages
Email Notifications for Unread Messages makes it easy for an advisor or their assistant to stay on top of client communications – without staying logged into Hearsay Messages 24/7. These email notifications alert users of client texts that haven’t been read so they don’t leave a client request unresolved.

Salesforce Connector
The Hearsay Salesforce Connector syncs your company’s contact records with advisor digital activity for stronger data organization and better communication across channels. By integrating your CRM system with Hearsay, your client data becomes more actionable at every stage of the sales funnel – from prospecting across social media and websites, to driving one-to-one engagement over email and text between Hearsay and Salesforce. With unified data and a more complete picture of a client’s life, advisors can engage in a smarter, more relevant way across every touchpoint. The solution is highly configurable and can be tailored to your existing business processes, data requirements and compliance standards.
Accounts Overview
The Accounts Overview is a new page that displays the state of connected accounts and profiles in one place, so that supervision officers can easily identify workspaces that they need to follow up with. In the past, a supervision officer had to run multiple reports to see this data. With the launch of Accounts Overview, this information is front and center, eliminating the need to run and join reports, and helping supervision officers better utilize their time and attention.
