Hearsay Announces Strategic Alliance with Microsoft
September 26, 2017
It’s my pleasure to share that Hearsay has formed a strategic alliance with Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), combining forces to build new vertical- and user-specific technologies for financial services and the advisors who form the foundation of the industry.
The news was announced this morning at Microsoft’s annual Envision Business Executive Conference in Orlando (#MSEnvision). Hearsay’s technology will be featured on stage today during a session hosted by Alysa Taylor, general manager of business applications and industry at Microsoft.
Other speakers at this sold-out event include Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States, Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, and Beth Comstock, GE Vice Chair.
Together, Hearsay and Microsoft will develop business solutions that help solve huge challenges specific to the highly regulated financial services industry. The alliance will bring together the Advisor Cloud – tools created specifically for an advisor’s highly unique needs – and CRM data, with the aim to increase gains in advisor productivity and new business.
Firms that use both Hearsay and Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be able to leverage Hearsay’s industry-specific workflows, data and compliance coverage with the relationship-centered customer insights from Dynamics 365. It will enable advisors to fully use the personal communication channels that their clients want and expect to be able to use, including social media, texting, email and instant messaging.
The result will be a digitally empowered financial advisor who uses predictive tech to be more proactive at building stronger, more authentic 1-to-1 client relationships, and to stay top of mind during those important life events where a trusted advisor is needed the most (e.g., a new job, new home, new baby).

Here at the Envision event, the mood is electrifying, as leaders across industries and functions discuss the future of digital transformation and share best practices on how to successfully operationalize it across the entire company. Within financial services, the focus is on applying the power of artificial intelligence, journeys to the cloud, and delivering next-gen customer service.
I am particularly looking forward to the session on “Reimagining the Customer Experience in Financial Services” and hearing from Sunaya Tuteja of TD Ameritrade, as well as our customer Bank of the West’s Martin Resch.
On behalf of everyone at Hearsay, we are thrilled to partner with Microsoft and are excited to work together toward a future where every financial advisor, insurance agent and banker has the user-specific tools and technologies to be both high-tech and high-touch at scale.
