The Next 10 Years of Social Business at LeWeb
December 19, 2013
We were pleased to see so many of our customers and partners last week at the LeWeb conference in Paris, but for those of you that couldn’t make it, we’ve gathered all the best photos, videos, tweets, and takeaways from the event.
The conference focused on the theme “the next 10 years” and our CEO Clara Shih spoke alongside industry leaders like Uber founder and CEO Travis Kalanick (@travisk), AXA’s CMO and Chief Distribution Officer Frédéric Tardy (@fredtardy), and social media leaders like Gary Vaynerchuk (@garyvee) and Guy Kawasaki (@GuyKawasaki).
“Hearsay Social has very big ambitions and a significant focus for us is around international expansion,” Clara shared with the audience.
Earlier this year, we announced our initial launch in Europe along with the launch of our platform in German, French, and Spanish. The coming year will be an even more important year for Hearsay Social to expand its international footprint, paralleling the continued importance of social business abroad. More and more companies have seen the value of coupling digital strategies with the traditional strategies that have worked for years.
In 2014, true social businesses will empower all its employees to participate on social media. From corporate marketing teams driving brand awareness to sales and customer service teams regularly engaging with customers and prospects, smart companies will understand how to use social networks to increase business and deepen relationships. Across the organization, employees will be expected to represent amplify and reinforce the corporate brand and its value to customers.
Clara later shared the stage with Gigya VP of Marketing John Elkaim to discuss how businesses can build deeper relationships with customers and prospects using social data. “It may have started with likes,” Clara explained, “but brands and salespeople can now use social media locally to build deeper relationships with customers and establish a longer term view.”
If you weren’t able to make it to Clara’s sessions at LeWeb, recordings are below. In this video, Loïc Le Meur, co-founder of LeWeb, chats with Clara about the growth of Hearsay Social and social business worldwide:
