Minutes ago, the new redesign for Facebook Business Pages was revealed at fMC (Facebook Marketing Conference) in New York. The redesign showcases the new Timeline format and cover photo previously made available to personal profiles, and over the course of the next 30 days, every Facebook Business Page will be transitioned to this new format.
We at Hearsay Social couldn’t be more thrilled to be a launch partner for Facebook’s exciting product announcement. Our CEO Clara Shih is in New York at fMC today where Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, VP Product Chris Cox, and VP Global Advertising David Fischer are unveiling their new products. And, simultaneously, Hearsay Social is today unveiling full integration and product support for these new Page brand timeline features:
Hearsay Social for Facebook Pages Brand Timeline integrates directly into the Hearsay Social Campaign and Page Management, one of our most popular product modules. As soon as its available, Hearsay Social customers will be able to tell their brand story with all of Facebook’s exciting new features, while ensuring brand protection and regulatory compliance.
Today is an exciting day for social media marketers. The new timeline grants you a canvas to tell rich brand stories to build and share emotional connection with your customers. More than ever, it’s about engaging audiences with timely, relevant content and authentic conversation from brand to region to local pages, driving customer engagement and loyalty through every level of your organization.
In addition to timeline, Facebook also announced premium ad units based on sponsored stories and Offers, a new story type on Pages that allows you to easily publish special promotions to wide audiences. And, as with timeline posts, our customers will be able to easily publish and distribute both premium ads and Offers through our platform with ease.
To help you navigate and capitalize on these big changes, our team has created a how-to guide for the Facebook Page Brand Timeline Redesign. Learn about the new rules for cover photos, how you should transition from the wall to the timeline, and other digestible tips for creating the best possible business page on Facebook. Congratulations again to the Facebook team. We look forward to seeing all of your new brand pages!
